Jonathan Black pitching for
AA Anniston (Montgomery farmhand) also joined in the no-hitter fun in Double-A this week. Jonathan was painting the corners all night despite five walks in which there were several questionable balls and strikes calls from rookie umpire Tim Ervin. As is the case at this development level, his next start this past week was not as fortunate for him. Black said after his game, "I had my fastball going tonight and the wind blowing in helped hold up some balls that would be typically out in this ball park!"
