Hiroaki Ine of the
Hanshin Tigers has had a statistically solid year but the W/L record just doesn't do him any justice so far in the Nippon Baseball League. On August 22nd, Hiroake took matters in his own right arm as he pitched Hanshin to a 2-0 victory over
Yokohama Bay Stars. He went 8.2 IP, allowed only 1 hit, struck out 13 and only walked two batters. His YTD stats are as follows:
