Boston looking up!

"The Boston Cardinals played 6 games during this period, going 6-0."

Not a message I expect to receive often this season. 

With a lineup filled with talented rookies / sophomores and a rotation that bears little resemblance to the power arms of recent years, the Cardinals are expecting to finish at or near the bottom of the division.

Sweeping two division foes puts a slightly different spin on things. Will playing in St Sebastian's help offset the weak back half of the rotation? Will the young outfield trio of Bancroft, Reyes, and Jones hit well enough to net some wins on the road? 

Last weeks results give the Boston faithful renewed hope for the rest of the season.
